Within the framework of the production cooperation, it is planned to produce a Barber trolley and freight cars based on it, test prototypes, certify and introduce innovative products on the territory of Belarus and Russia.
Within the framework of the agreement, the Mogilev Car-Building Plant will organize at its production facilities the assembly of Barber bogies with an axial load of 25 tc (model 18-9855) and 23.5 tc (model 18-9810) and universal gondola cars with unloading hatches (models 12-9853 and 12-9761-02) equipped with these bogies.
The Russian side will provide the Belarusian enterprise with all the necessary components for the assembly of gondola cars and Barber trolleys, as well as organize the sale of products produced by the MVZ on the territory of the 1520 mm gauge.
Commenting on the signing, Roman Savushkin, General Director of United Wagon Company LLC, said: "The mass operation of the innovation park will help to remove the hotbeds of tension in the railway transportation market.The development of such a partnership with the CIS car-building and foundry companies will serve to improve the efficiency of our transport system as soon as possible."
